This artwork is inspired by a photograph I took during a family holiday to Goa in 2018. Captured from the window of a quiet coffee shop, the scene has stayed with me not only as a visual but as an emotional snapshot of time spent with loved ones.
These boats symbolize far more than their physical form — they carry the warmth of connection, laughter, and the peace of shared moments.
In creating this piece, I deliberately embraced rough textures to reflect the raw and imperfect beauty of these fishing boats- layered and weathered.
Through this work, I aim to evoke a sense of nostalgia and stillness — a quiet reminder of how everyday moments often become our most treasured memories.
