Bhavana Kapur is a Singapore-based artist whose creative journey began in the world of architecture and interior design.

After spending more than a decade working in the design industry, she gradually returned to a long-standing passion for painting, allowing art to become a more central part of her life and creative expression.

Having a strong background as an Architect, has helped her interweave the 2 forms of arts. Concepts such as balance, structure, rhythm, and visual harmony play an important role in her paintings, often shaping the way elements come together on the canvas. At the same time, painting offers her a freedom that goes beyond the discipline of architectural design—an opportunity to explore intuition, emotion, and imagination.

Bhavana likes to paint subjects that stir her senses, invite her to the canvas and let her dream about it. Some works carry deeper emotional narratives, while others simply celebrate the beauty that surrounds us in everyday life.
